I have visited Japan several times, and on one of those occasions I spent a few months living there. It is one of my favorite places in the world, and every time I go, I try to document my time there as best as I can.

For years, I've compulsively taken photos of my surroundings. Creating this diary, in which I photograph my friends and the people around me, grounds me and helps me understand where I am. Nostalgia overcomes me, and I also love collecting things, so years ago, I decided to start a journal to document everything I love about my life.

"Lo hice x mí" was the first photographic project of my life. Through collage and photography, during a pivotal moment of change, the best way I found to start this book was by expressing myself.
